Pedal away from a morning beverage and then head along the Ballona Creek until turning into the hills. Ride a switchback wooden staircase up to the top and then through ornamental gateways on dirt. Pedal further upon pavement until you reach a parking lot that then turns into your first quick downhill dirt section.
Continue on dirt over a bridge connecting another uphill pavement section on your way up to the “Bowl.” Once you’re up, turn away heading downhill toward some fun single-track that is separated by a dangerous intersection. Once you’re over the other side of the intersection to the Stocker Corridor Trail Head, the single-track continues.
At the bottom you’ll ride on roads through the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw neighborhood. After crossing a major intersection, you’ll find a dirt path along the major road. It’s a steep climb up back toward the bowl. Ride around the bowl and then toward some additional single-track that will take you back to the bridge.
Climb the path where you came from one more time and then descend back on pavement toward the creek. Then you’ll find your post-ride beverage and food!
